Yahoo Is More Popular Than Google - says Google.

Sat, 10 May 2008 10:55:30 PDT
Google's own product - 'Google Trends' says that Yahoo is more popular than Google since a long time. Even though the graph of Google has been steadily climbing, it has never beaten Yahoo. Should we or shouldn't we believe you Google?

New kind of beetle found! By CBC staff!

Fri, 25 Apr 2008 02:21:19 PDT
New kind of beetle found! By CBC staff! Staff on the state-owned CBC Newsworld, where, suspiciously like Fox News Channel’s O’Reilly Factor, “The Spin Stops Here”! (-- or is that just on their “Politics” program?) apparently discovered the new creature. They called it the “GREENHOUSE BEETLE”. Most other people, like the folks at the National Post, which features the little bugger on their front page today, call it the Mountain Pine Beetle. Labcoats call it Dendroctonus Ponderosae. Bu

Red and Blue Through the Gray Lady’s Eyes

Sun, 11 May 2008 14:06:14 PDT
The New York Times today published a fairly credible map of the current electoral college landscape. The tally shows John McCain with 24 states worth a total of 200 electoral votes safely in his corner while Barak Obama can sleep easy about 12 states and D.C. worth 172 electoral votes. The map is a bit deceiving in that the “battleground” states are shaded red or blue not based on who is currently leading there, but on how each voted in 2004. While there are roughly an equal number of red an

NYT Weenie Roasts Smart ForTwo

Sun, 11 May 2008 15:55:41 PDT
You'd think The New York Times would love the smart fortwo. It's trendy, chic and politically correct in an entirely metrosexual kinda way. Yeah, those wacky old Bimmers! Who needs a life can forget them! And then Taub gets waylaid by the smart's herky-jerky, unacceptably quirky automa

Angry Alexandria Consumers Want to Know - Where Are the Grit

Sun, 11 May 2008 12:45:02 PDT
Our original plans for Mother’s Day were centered around a low key evening of grilling and dining on our back patio. Torrential rain storms and chilly temperatures made moving inside a wise decision.
