According to league sources, Seattle rookie Kevin Durant will be named NBA rookie of the year. The Sonics will have a press conference to announce the award on Thursday. 23 hours April 30th, 2008 I signed a confidentiality agreement when I first started at CAB. And that I can cope with fine. I’m usually good with other people’s secrets (although it does help if I know that it’s supposed to be a secret). Really not good at keeping my own secrets. I frequently think “oh I’ll keep that possibility/opportunity/news/whatever secret for a while until I know more” and invariable that lasts a few hours, maybe an afternoon. Then I’m on the phone telling people.

WunderMap - Google Maps + Weather Underground

I've been an Accuweather person (they are from Penn State, after all) but this WunderMap, a Weather Underground based Google Maps mashups is very nice. Not only did it locate me and provide local weather, but the interface is clear and elegant, with spot temperatures in colored circles. I also like the option to turn on and off five different layers. The site went live yesterday. - Digital Trends
